A New Find...

I was on Amazon.com recently, and found three new mysteries that American Girl is going to release!! The mysteries are going to be released on February 28th. The mysteries are going to be for Rebecca, Marie-Grace, and Cecile. I posted their descriptions as well as the covers that I captured off of Amazon.com. To see them click here!

Winter Break, and a new book review...

Hello World!

I thought I posted this earlier this week but in my "Edit Posts" it says I never posted it, and has it as a draft. So I am going to post it to you all now. Here you go!

I truly can't believe what a great break I have had! My family and I went to Michigan to celebrate Christmas and New Year! We couldn't have had a better, snowier Christmas! :0) I realize MI has very little snow compared to their average, but since South Western Ohio has NO snow, just a few inches (approx. 10 by the time we left) seemed like a ton.

You see, I haven't had a white Christmas since 2007, and to actually see snow on Christmas day seemed like a miracle. I will update this site with some photos soon. I have used this mostly for long written posts, and have mostly posted photos here. I think I will post a few "non-AG" photos from winter break here though!

I think my dolls enjoyed seeing snow as well! I will be sure to post some snow photos on my other page. Most of the time they were cooped up inside, but just before we left, I took them out to enjoy the thick and deep snow (don't worry; I didn't take them in very deep!).

Why, yes another update!

I really must be on a roll here!! I have posted yet again on my other website www.agpixplace.net. I have finished reading McKenna and made a little review. I really did try not to give away too much detail and information in my review... if I did, I am sorry. I always like knowing the end, because I hate things that are unpredictable.

Let me know how I did, and if you have McKenna, are getting McKenna, or read her books; let me know what you think. You can of course post a comment, or email me at agpixplace@gmail.com. I posted photos of McKenna's collection on my other website... really I posted a "fantasy" wishlist! Go check it out, because I think you will like the photos. Do you like McKenna and her collection? Are you going to get any of McKenna's things? I have started to read McKenna's first book on my Kindle, and I think the book is terrific! Even if you don't get McKenna you should definitely read her books!

A new updated Holiday Blog

Ok... after a failed attempt to actually publish this...:

I hope everyone had a great Holiday Season! I have taken the time today to update the Blog's background to match winter. I forgot to do this for the fall, and haven't done it since Spring 2011. I am going to try to do all four seasons in 2012 but no promises. :0) Everything has been terrific here; and I think we all got what we could have asked for. I got Cecile, some clothes Argos (Marie-Grace's dog) who I will rename Bud. You see; a person I know has a dog named Bud who is a Bouvier, so since I don't have Marie Grace, Argos is now named Bud! My dolls now have a new sister. I truly have no idea, how many dolls I have now but I believe it is approx. 22. I also have a few non-AG dolls, so we are close to 35 which isn't bad at all for a collector... guess you know what is coming!! :0)

I also got an Amazon Kindle. I have read 3 Nancy Drew books on it so far, and just purchased a fourth book for it. I need to upload it to my Kindle. I don't have WiFi so I have to download the books to my computer before uploading them to the Kindle!


I am going to end this post since I keep deleting half of what I type by accident.

Another Fantastic Week

Hey Everyone,

This has been another fantastic week- and I do believe I will be able to post a Guess that Picture on Sunday. Next weekend however, it will be difficult for me to post as it will be Christmas on Sunday. What an exciting time of year! I am planning so many great posts for after the holidays, and will try to keep you up to date with everything that will be happening... believe me, it will be a busy break. I should be able to post a photo or two of Cecile not too long after Christmas day; and more photos will come as we progress through the year!

My dolls are planning a few posts as well during this Christmas break. We will be sure to share these with you throughout the winter months. We are so excited. I know they are just as excited (if not more excited) than I am for their newest sister, and friend. Cecile will be my LAST American Girl Doll... as of right now. I must admit though that I have said this about 10 times in the last 2-3 years. :0) American Girl keeps coming out with great dolls that I relate to so much. Hopefully Girl of 2012 (who I hear is named McKenna) will have nothing to do with me, and I won't feel obligated to purchase her!

If you get the chance- check out the Buckles' Family page and congratulate them on their newest addition Peyton Grace born on December 6th at approx. 8:30. CONGRATS! I can't wait to see photos; and will be sure to post a link here when Melissa finds the time to post some. :0) The girls are so adorable and I KNOW Peyton is now and will be a pretty lady too!

The countdown to Christmas begins!

Hey Everyone,

I thought I would post a quick update here to let you know that everyone is well, and the countdown to Christmas has officially begun! I can't wait to get Cecile this Christmas and I know my dolls are just as excited. I picked out which Cecile I wanted at American Girl Place in Chicago, she is just in her box until Christmas. I will post some photos when I do get her.

I am planning on posting a Guess that Picture today. It'll be my first, and I am so excited. I have to edit the photo I would like to use, and blow it up really really big. As long as I can figure out how to do that, we should be in great shape... otherwise that will come later, and another ordinary sized photo will appear today on my other page.

Now about the Give Away that I had about 2 months ago... I still have not heard anything from Morgan, our winner. I will draw a new winner today, and post the new winner tomorrow. My new Give Away policy for ALL Give Aways: If you win, you MUST email me an address no later than 2 weeks after I email you to let you know you won.

So... since I said the Countdown to Christmas has officially begun here... let's say how many more days! There are only 14 more days after today, and not including Christmas day! So really 15!
