Show and Tell Wednesday Week 44!

Hey Everyone,

I am so glad to be posting a Show and Tell Wednesday!  Honestly- I almost forgot about it!  I think this is week 44 but I am not going to go check.  It might be week 45, because I think I might have postd Week 43 twice... Anyway, it's around week 44!

As you know last weekend I had a friend over and we took many pictures of my dolls.  Here are the 2 photos I posted before they were edited.  This is really truly what the photos looked like before I edited them.

My mom posted on her Doll Science blog the other day.  This post tells you how to find miniatures around the house that are the right size for your doll.  She also added a Subscribe by email gadget so you can subscribe and be notified by email each time she posts.

Show and Tell Wednesday Week 42

Hey Everyone,
I know I am not keeping up with Show and Tell Wednesday, but here's one:

As many of you know, my dolls made jewelery on Monday at camp. :) I am so happy I was able to get "The Dolls' Space" off the ground!

I want to share with all of you, some of the tricks I used to make that! Here is a video that I have put together for you to be able to see how I made the jewelery work a little easier! I put together this video today, and I apologize that it wasn't posted until so late. :) It is really hard to make the loop closure without making the wire break off... which gets really frustrating. :( This will be also posted on YouTube. But it is really hard for me to post YouTube videos here with the dimensions right so it will fit on the Blog properly. :)

June?- Show and Tell Wednesday Week 42

Hey Everyone,

I haven't posted here recently, but I just posted on my other page last night... and hopefully will finish the post tonight (Part II). Today I am going to show you a few photos of my Mom's doll Zoarzoar. :) Zoarzoar is an eBay rescue, and my mom had to do things like add paint to Zoarzoar's face, and fix her hair. Zoarzoar was the name of the seller, and I think Zoarzoar looks like Molly... the hair even looks like it was in braids, and the owner (maybe not "Zoarzoar, maybe the daughter), just cut the braids. Poor Zoarzoar. :)

Show and Tell Week 41!

Hey Everyone,

(I don't think I did this one yet... I have to go to bed, because it is late, and I didn't have time to look!)

It is so hot outside (it was 87 degrees according to The Weather Channel around 4). UGH! Where did spring go? I am hoping to get some photos soon of the outdoors and my dolls (it just stopped raining... but it is suppose to rain again- there is a chance of rain all this week but it didn't rain today!)...



Here is a photo of my dolls in front of their newly designed bedroom (just posterboard)! I don't really use this much anymore, but I think it is very handy for when I do use it..., it can make something look so different!

Show and Tell Wednesday Week 40!

Hi Everyone,

It is week 40 of Show and Tell Wednesday! Wow. :) (my science teacher would say "wowsa" but I might just stick to wow! lol) This week I am going to post a photo of my bookshelf back in 2008. You can see my dolls Loran, Rachel and Julie, and a bookshelf on a pink wall. That is the same bookshelf that I have all of my dolls on today. At first I only needed the middle row, and then I only needed (I think) the top 2 rows as doll shelves. Then I needed the whole bookcase and I needed a new one for books.

Show and Tell Wednesday Week 39?

Hi Everyone,

I think this is week 39 of S&TW... I want to squeeze this in before the next line of storms come through... I should be able to post more later...

Look how big of a difference the flash can make... I thought I had it on, but really I had it off... that is why so many of the photos looked so bright and that is why I had to be careful with how I held the camera (because otherwise they were really blurry)... I should be able to post more later, but I think we should shut this down soon incase more comes... my mom is watching the weather. :)

Show and Tell Wednesday Week 38

Hey Everyone, I can't believe it is almost week 40... I know I have gone a long time without posting but here a few behind the scenes photos from the day I did the Fashion Show... Enjoy the pics... Hawaii, and new pix!

We just came back from Hawaii yesterday incase you didn't read my twitter post- that's why things have been so vague.

Also- I posted some new photos on my webpage: www.agpixplace.net/photos-2011.html. I have decided to try to avoid doing posts (typed posts) on that page, but if I need to I will add a Posts 2011 page :) The photos include Kanani on the Local Hawaiian news (KHNL), and photos from Waipio Valley, and Volcanoes National Park. I have one of the Presidents plane in Hilo (we think the plane he wasn't in since he was on Oahu) but that is a photo and story for another time :)

I have to go study for my tests, and eat. We had a snowday I was suppose to take them since I was leaving for Hawaii, so I had to wait until we got back... unfortunately I will have to "relearn" the material. I remembered math and really just reviewed, but science... I don't know about :)

PS: I will try to start up Show and Tell Wednesday again this week... but I don't know if I can since I have an Algebra midterm next Monday (Jan 10), and will be reviewing for that. Any idea what week I was on?

Show and Tell Wednesday Week 36

Hi Everyone,

I am SO shocked to be done my homework at 6:45, and to be able to post this message to you all. Please remember that most days I am still doing my homework until the time I go to bed. :(

Hopefully that will change:)

This week, I am going to show you a video of what I got at the American Girl outlet store, in Oshkosh WI. To find the location or more about it, I just googled "American Girl outlet store, Oshkosh, WI". I got the information I needed and we stopped there on the way home. On the video it talks about a Give Away that I was planning on starting Monday. Unfortunately, that didn't happen, so I will get you details about when I am planning on ending it. It will start this weekend (guarenteed since I can upload the video today, and just not post it until Saturday or Sunday)

Show and Tell Wednesday Week 35?

Sorry for not posting much at all... WELCOME TO SEPTEMBER. 8th grade has brought a TON of homework. I haven't had much time at all for blogging.

This is the first real time I have had time to blog except for Sunday.

This week I am going to show you a photo of me in San Francisco from this past spring, with Julie on my back. I am still planning on editing the other videos... it may just take a year :)

I just noticed that I posted S&TW Week 31 on Monday. I was at my dad's work and usually go on Wednesdays. So when I came home it was automatic for me to post one (even though I remembered at like 9:30 at night).

S&TW Explanation:

In Michigan I perched my dolls onto this buerau/ shelf in the hotel we stayed in since it takes 2 days to get to the part of the UP we stay in. So here is a photo I took. It is so easy to get photos of dolls, and I never realized that until very recently. So lets take a look at the photo.

This week I am going to show you a photo that I took in Michigan. My doll Heather fell over when I pushed her across a little too quickly. This is how my photo story came to be. It was originally going to happen a little bit differently- but because of this, the story was changed, and occurs the way it does. Please come to my webpage this weekend for the whole photo story.

Show and Tell Wednesday Week 28!

7 months? WoW:) That time has really really gone by FAsT:) ZoOm:) lol.

I am going to show you an outdoor photo where I "tricked" the scenery. Basically I got down at the doll's level to make it look like the scenery you see in the photo was farther away then it really was. This way it looked the right size it would at the "pretended" distance. When things are farther away they look smaller because of parallax or your perspective to it. But as you get closer they get bigger.



So... this week I am going to show you a photo from when we were on Isle Royale an island in Lake Superior. The dolls are looking at the Queen IV (4) pull into the dock. The boat is really closer than that, but I had to make it look relative to their size so.... I also can't get any "normal sized" full grown tree in the photo either because then it is obvious how much bigger their surroundings are.

Show and Tell Wed. Week 27

Hi, I am sorry for not posting on Twitter, or here much, but I have been busy, and am trying to update and edit my webpage.

This week for S&TW week 36, I am going to show you a photo of my current and NEW header on my webpage. I made this on powerpoint by "inserting picture", and then when I lined the 4 photos up and had it the way I liked it I "grouped" them. I know you can do this on "Paint" but I couldn't figure out how, so I did this on PPT and then "File, Save As"... JPEG. This way I could upload it onto Weebly:) I also used the gridlines to make everything straight and to line them up perfectly. I did save a few versions but here is my final and the one on my webpage.
