Show and Tell Wed. Week 15

Hi welcome to S&TW. I just got done with (part of) a school project and am tired. So if I make spelling errors...

Ok. so this week I am not doing what I had planned. Sorry. I don't even know where the "planner" is so I will just show you a photo.

Give Away!

Hi to all,

I would just like to remind all of you that there are only 3 days (until February 23rd, 2010 at midnight) to enter my giveaway ;-)

If you enter you will receive a blanket that will fit perfectly on your doll and a pillow that matches. These 2 items are homemade.

I will be having a Spring Give Away too I think. It will be the top winner of the poll that only has 4 more days on it ;) I will go down that list slowly and when I run out I will have another poll with new items on it! I also have an item that wasn't even on that list. I will be sure to give it away though. I will be giving the item away for the Holiday Giveaway I think!

I am also thinking of some items that weren't even on that list so we will have to see when I give things away what they are!! Show and Tell Wed. Week 14

So for this week's Show and Tell Wednesday I have decided to post a photo of my doll Rachel (JLY #4). This is a very cool photo because her head is tilted so that it really does look like she is posing when I just stood her there.

I don't know how her head got like that (I must have bumped it at some point), but it is perfect for the photo!!

New Background

Hi:-) I was showing my mom how to use Blogger and I had just clicked on a green background (current one) and then the computer started opening all of these new tabs so I had to shut it down.

I think the green matches the snowmen so until spring (atleast) or until I get sick of it I will keep the green;)

Chinese New Year, Valentines Day

As I mentioned on my other site, tomorrow is Chinese New Year, and Valentines Day.

Chinese New Year is China's New Year!- This is the year that they go by (I mean I think they probably know it is 2010 but this is their traditional year). For Chinese New Year you should have your house spotless so the luck can get in and won't escape when you throw your things away.!! This year it is the year of the Tiger, so traditionally if you are born in the year of the Tiger (2010, 1998, and so forth), you should wear red (earrings, shoelaces etc) every day for good luck. Pink is a form of red so pink does count :-)

My family and I are going to a Chinese New Year party a little later today :-)

Two Hour Delay today =)

Hi=) I ended up having a 2 hour delay today. I think I will read for the remainding 20 minutes that I have. I kind of miss not having the whole day to do what ever I want, but that is ok. I need to get back to reality some time.

Only 2 more days of school in this week and then next week is a 4 day week. YEAH!!!! So exciting.

SO this week Heather and Mia decided to go Ice skating. In the photo shown Mia and Heather are on their way to the ice rink. Right now they are going to practice. Mia is in her old ice skaing outfit from 2008. She gave Heather her really old one to wear.

So speaking of Ice Skating on a rink... my friend Caitlin has an ice skating competition this up-coming weekend. So be sure to wish her luck! Good Luck Caitlin =)

Here are the photos, Lily!! I am also attaching a photo showing how much snow we got between this past weekend and yesterday. Nine inches isn't alot everywhere but here most people consider that a lot. (They just haven't seen alot!! I know most schools wouldn't even cancel for that but...)

Mia is in the green and my newest doll (an eBay rescue) is in Mia's silver outfit.

We got 9" of snow. Arund here people consider that alot.

Snow Day, Girl Doll Talk...

Hi Girls:)

I just wanted to say (real quick) that I had a snow day today because of the snow we are getting in Ohio. I probably will have school tomorrow but if the roads don't get plowed until the snow stops (that is what the road people do sometimes) then I might not. I don't want school but I do kind of want to...

Also: American Girl Doll Talk is asking if you have questions for Mary Casanova (the author of the Chissa Books). She will be interviewed on Thursday so.... I definitely put my question down onto the table!

Well I have to go shovel. I will work on my S&TW tonight and then I will set up the post to go up tomorrow.

Snow...Ice...Sleet!!

So my school had an "emergency closing". My mom heard yesterday though that the school was going to try to get us in through lunch (around noon) and then they could count the day as a half day.

It is nasty here. There is snow, ice, sleet (right now just snow and I think sleet). My mom is at home because she didn't want to get stuck an 1 hour away (where she works). So she waited an hour and then got a headache... I took the bus to my dad's office and was walking back from the bus stop... I got "hit" with either heavy snow or sleet many times. UGH:-)

I will post some more on the weather tomorrow or tonight.

Show and Tell Wednesday Week 12

Hi Girls=) Well First thing is first: I am sorry that I am late posting this:-) This unforunately may not be the last time:( This year my Wed. are very busy- but I found that I can set it up to post; so I may do it on Tues. and have it post auto. on Wed:)

So... earlier this week I was using my mom's old portable type-writer. I made Kit write some letters to Ruthie and her friend Samantha. I would like to share those photos with you now.

The red ink works the best but theblack also works.

I am honestly hoping to get some (2 or 3) videos up this weekend!! I will upload them, edit them and upload them onto YouTube, my homepage and on Blogger.
