Give Away winner and What's wrong with this photo?

Well, I'm trying to stick to my goal, that I set earlier this month.  I'm not quite on time with 2 weeks, but I'm closer than I have been.  This weekend, my friend, Kat, came over and we took a bunch of pictures for the website.  Well, we had a lot of fun, and we decided to add something that doesn't belong in this picture.  Do you know what it is?  There are a lot of things, that you probably wouldn't see at a table in North America, but which item definitely is impossible to have at a table in North America?!

I had Give Away last September, and I finally drew the winner.  The winner is Kassidy.  I have sent you an email Kassidy.  If you don't want the doll sized crocheted purse and wallet, that's ok, just let me know so that I can draw another winner.

I'm so happy to be back to what I enjoy.  I hope to be posting more this semester, and so far, my semester hasn't been too busy... let's just hope it stays that way!!

2013 is here!

I was able to post some photos of Marisol and Rachel taking down their Christmas tree decorations here.  With some careful planning, I think I can meet my goal of posting every 2 weeks.

Almost 2013, Resolutions, Christmas

Well, with less than 6 hours until the new year, I thought it was time that I post some of my new year's resolutions.  I'm not sure that I will follow through for 365 days, but I should at least start 2013 well, right?

Hopefully, I can do more with my dolls. When I say "more", I don't necessarily mean have more "big" posts.  I might just post one or two pictures, but that would be enough for me.

I got some new things at American Girl Place in Chicago this fall, and I haven't done anything to post any photos.  Hopefully, I will at least show you the new outfits I got in a post this month (January) if nothing else.  Later this year I should be able to show you some of the other stuff I got, slowly.

I had a good Christmas, in case you were wondering.  I visited NORAD again this year.  They changed their website, and I liked the videos with narration more than I like the music videos.  I got DVDs that I had asked for, and a stuffed animal, and 2 key chains for my backpack.

My dolls need to take down their Christmas decorations so I will at least have a few photos for you on new year's day.  I didn't take any photos of my dolls putting up decorations, but I'll take a photo of the tree before my dolls undecorate it.

A brief update...

Ok, I regret not posting on here between August and now.  I've been very busy with marching band, and other school activities.  School its self  has kept me busy.  Our marching band season ended a few weeks ago, but things haven't slowed down (like I thought they would).

I posted 2 photos on my other website, and I am going to try to post one photo a week until winter break.  I reorganized my doll shelf, and so I don't have a huge mess in front of the shelf anymore.  I'm going to take a picture of it, and post it for you as next weekends photo.  I'm not sure when I last took a picture of all of my dolls together on the shelf), so hopefully, if you are "missing" any of the dolls in the big count, you'll be able to pick them up. :0)

A Routine...

My summer has been GREAT, but it's back to the time of year that school starts.  Unfortunately, I have to start school very soon.  I'm excited, but I also know I won't have as much time to post (not that I've been doing a lot of posting anyway).  I'll try to update my twitter more often, and I'll try to post more photos.  I have a lot of goals, and maintaining my website is one of them.

My dolls are going back to school soon too.  I'm sure I'll have some photos of their first day to post next weekend.

This weekend, I plan on being able to post some photos from my dolls' great nature scavenger hunt.  I'll post some tweets to let you know.

Have a fantastic rest of your summer (if you haven't started school yet).  If you've started school already, I hope you are having a good year.

A few new books means a few new reviews (coming soon)!

I can't believe that I have neglected this page for over a month!  Wow.  I have posted on my other page though. :-)  One of my friends gave me the 3 new American Girl Mysteries for my birthday.  I'm in the process of reading one of them, and should be able to post a review soon.  So far, the book is amazing (it's  The Crystal Ball: A Rebecca Mystery written by Jacqueline Dembar Greene).  I really like American Girl mysteries because they always have happy endings.  If you have read it, please email me a review and I will be sure to post it on my website!

A Lot has Happened...

Well, that just about sums everything up!  A lot has happened since the last time I have posted here.  I have done 2 units in math, 1 long unit in Science, 3 mini-units in History (3 parts of 1 Chapter), and a whole research paper in English.  Whew!  That really has not left much time to do things like blog, or take pictures, or even practice my music!! I'm going to do a little bit of photo taking tomorrow though.  I know that I have said that many times, but I think I can make it happen since we have a 3 day weekend.

Now, we have 8 more days of school, and 4 of those are exam days. That really leaves 4 days for regular classes!  Where did the school year go?  I can't wait for summer though.  I will definitely miss the teachers next year, but summer gives you so much more freedom, and that means so much more time to take photos!

Next year I hear that the teachers give more homework, and I think I might just have to take a break.  I'll do my best to be "honest" and just announce a break when I need it.  I think will all of my extra-curricular activities, that I will definitely need a break in the fall!  I'll let you know.

I haven't logged onto Blogger in so long, that I don't know when the new template arrived.  I kept the old as long as possible, but today when I logged on, the new one was here!  When did it arrive?!

Hang in there until the end; I promise I'll be back in the summer with fun posts!

Happy Easter!

I can't believe I have not posted photos here for so long! I have decided to post my Easter photos here and on my other site. I know I am really "doubling up" on posts, but it's better than nothing. I will try to post more photos here in the near future!

My dolls baked an Easter-bunny cake this weekend. It's a little small, but it definitely was enjoyed by everyone.

Here are all of the bunny cup-cake pops my mom made. They took a really long time, and some of them look really strange, but they are all adorable.

I can't believe that I am on spring-break for the next week. Granted, I have a lot of work that needs to be done, but I will also have a lot more free-time to just sit back and relax. When I return to school I have 8 weeks left before summer is here. Don't get me wrong, we still have lots of work to do, but 8 weeks is just 2 months. I am of course excited, but I also can't believe how fast the school year (always) goes by. In August when I start school I always wish for the year to be over, but know that summer will be here "soon". When April comes, and we are just 2 months away, I don't want the year to be over. Of course I am so excited for summer, but I love my teachers and will greatly miss them next year!

The weather has been wonderful, and just like every year, the weather gets "cold" again for Easter. It's ok though. The weather is still beautiful and I am so excited to see leaves back on trees. The grass is growing again which means I need to mow it, but at least it is no longer brown and patchy!

An update for the month of February

I apologize for not posting for a month! I have been very busy this semester, and haven't had much time to take photos! I do have evenings and weekends, but by the time I can take photos, I am just so worn out that I don't want to take them. Everyone in my family has been doing well. I can't believe that we haven't had any snow this winter! We have had the occasional sprinkle, but usually (even in Ohio) we have enough for a few snow days. It looks like everyone is low on snow, so maybe next year we will "make up" for the loss. ;)

I can't believe that I have now had my webpage for 3 years! That is old news (by a month), but it truly is a blessing to have such a great group of followers who are so loyal and who I can truly call my Internet Friends! Thank you for sticking with me even when I go a month without posting!

I have recently gotten a few things from American Girl, and am going to try to post some photos on my other page today or early this week. I try to post on my twitter once a week (or more) so you can always check there for the latest news. I always post there when I have posted on my other page.

I can't believe summer is right around the corner. I always don't like ending a school year, but I do know that I have the most free time in the summers to post photos, and can't wait to share my summer with you.
