Show and Tell Wednesday week 6

Hey:) I can't believe that it has been 6 weeks since I started Show and Tell Wed... If you don't know what S&TW is please go here to learn all about it:)

This week's Show and Tell is going to be a photo of Jade-Lynne putting up the bulletin board in Rachel and her room:) It really does look like she is putting up a bulletin board. I guess it is the angle of the photo! I will also post a photo of the "bedroom" with Rachel and Jade-Lynne sitting in the bed. I hope you enjoy these!

Jolly Holiday Pictures

Snow;)

Hey;) This is actually our second snow fall but our first "major" snow fall. We had snow about 2 weeks ago but it didn't stick. I would estimate that we currently have 1". It is compressing but we actually have had a few inches fall over night.

This is the worst I have gotten yet- but I actually don't have anything for my mom yet. She is going to take me to the mall so I can get her either a giftcard or some soap etc at Bath and Body Works. I asked her if she had a guess and her guess was right. UGH! So now I don't need dad's help. Mom may know the store but she doesn't know exactly know what she is getting;)

Hey. :) I can't believe it is Show and Tell Week 5! To learn please click the link. That is a pretty long time- a month;) WoW:) As you can see on Twitter I have been somewhat busy and got back from Boston on Monday night and still had to study for a test in health. I forgot my study guide. ;( I did it but then was thinking "O- I did that...." Right now I will have to hunt for a photo for Show and Tell. Hold on.....

OK- found the one. :) I got a flowergirl dress from eBay. Yes I do realize that AG sells them too with the flowers etc; but you know eBay is really additcing. :) So here are the photos. Captions are below the pix.;)

Show and Tell Wednesday

Welcome to Show and Tell Wednesday Week 4! Wow a month ago I started S&TW. :)

This week I am going to show you all a photo taken by me with my digital camera off of my computer when my site first started. If you click on "site" it will take you to my site. A huge improvement has been made:) I went through a period of time when every week (almost every day) I would choose a new background. :) I love my site and I think it has been a huge success; which of course in January is why I am going to my own domain.

Here is the photo. This is the second "theme" I had picked. The problem is that if I added another page they wouldn't all show. I now have a vertical menu because of that problem. :) I can't believe my site has become that huge of a success and that it has changed so much.

So welcome to Show and Tell Week 3. :) WoW!!!

So this week I am going to share a photo with you of my new doll that my dad's student CHUCK got for me. THANKS CHUCK. :) I named her Andreea (say An-dreeea). (the best pronunciation diagram I can use. :)) That is the name that Chuck picked out and I liked it so I kept it. :))So I got Andreea on Thanksgiving and I really like her. She is a Madame Alexander 18" doll. So here is the photo of her with some of her new friends. :))

I don't know how nice of a day it is at your house- but at my house it was nice enough for my sister and I escape and go outside. OK- I don't exatly have a sister but I call my BFF my sister. Thanksgiving! and a Video

Show and Tell Wednesday Week 2

I got a request to show this from Mandy W. Thanks Mandy. :) Anyhow- I just used mild shampoo and conditioner to wash (Herbal Essences Dangerously Straight (pink push cap bottle)) my doll's hair. I really thought that hotel shampoo would be milder but since I waited a few minutes with the bottle tipped upside down and nothing came out I gave up. :) You have to make sure NOT to get your dolls eyes wet though. Here is an after photo. The photo with the bag on the doll and the doll's hair being washed is going to be a gift. But I did the same thing to Chance. My mom added new bangs since Chance's bangs had been cut off. They are a little lighter than the rest of her hair.


I know this is long for a S&TW but this Wed. is special. :) I will show a whole video after Christmas.

Hey Guys,

I just wanted to let you know that I will post photos really soon. I have a photo though that I thought would be really cool to share with you right now. :) I have horse back riding lessons today so I will have to go get dressed (change the top) and brush my teeth here shortly but here is the photo. This photos is a photo of my cat Suzie (remember the Sabor tooth tiger?:)) sitting on a DOLL COUCH. UG she loves boxes just not the bed I got her when she was a kitten. How annoying.

Today we had a field trip and we got to see this classroom that was round and had 4 TVs so everyone could see what the teacher was doing. We also got to sit in a classroom that held 450 people (or something like that). :) It was fun,

Show and Tell!

Hi. I think I will just do it just maybe this once- I can't promise I will remember every week to update this. :) Ok. I am going to do a show and tell (started by Liz). I think this is really neat and I will do it every once and a while.



This week I am showing you all a picture of when I first got Jess (MORE than 1 year ago). If you have seen this post before the first time I was thinking a year ago (back in Oct 2008). But then I looked back and said NO WAY that can't be more than a year ago so I said more than 6 months ago. THE TRUTH I GOT JESS MORE THAN 1 YEAR AGO. :)) I had this picture taken by my dad. It used to be my old blog picture. In 2006 I wanted Jess but my mom said no. A little while after 2006- my mom found out that Jess was from the U.P of Michigan (the part we visited this summer). So in 2009 my mom finally broke down and got her for me from eBay. She was previously owned (and loved) by a girl who had really wanted Marisol (no- I am never selling my dolls. :)) Her mother told her that if she sold Jess on eBay she could use the money (profit) and buy Marisol on eBay. So it was a happy ending for everyone- especially Jess who got to go to a home where she was really badly wanted.

I didn't do my hair infact I just had gotten out of the shower a little while before that.

Doll H1N1

I just wanted to let you know that I think the doll virus of H1N1 is going around just as fast as the human virus. Jess had to stay home yesterday and today due to symptoms of H1N1. I don't really think that there is a test for dolls but I just wanted to let you know to keep an eye out for symptoms of your doll. :) I think I had it in Sept. but I don't know because I didn't get a test. I didn't think I had it at the time but now my friend has had it and she had the same symptoms as me. I unfortunately think that half of the school may have had it earlier in the year without realizing it. :(

Meeting Valerie Tripp

I thought I posted about meeting Valerie Tripp but I guess I did on my other site. Well here is the really fast summary: "Meeting Valerie Tripp was SO MUCH FUN." :))

Here is the detailed version:

Valerie Tripp is a really kind. Ms. Tripp autographed all kinds of things besides books she wrote. She signed a bitty twin's shoe; and books she didn't write but books kids just bought that day. She signed a doll carrier that a girl had just bought.

I brought a book (Meet Josefina) for her to sign. I got a photo with her. I also bought a book for my friend who was going to come to visit relatives who live just out side of Chicago but then had to change plans. It turns out it is just as well she didn't come because she had H1N1 that Sunday at 4 AM and when her mother took her in for the test it was postive. She would have been sick on the way home. PHEW. :)) I guess I am kind of glad her aunt changed plans.

I will post it. Right now I am downloading photos from the tripp- YES I haven't done it yet while I write this post. Hold on I have to click some buttons. (After I typed the rest) Ok I am about to upload the photo hold on. :))

Valerie Tripp wasn't going to be signing things during the dinner; but afterwards she announced: "If I didn't sign something of yours and you want me to; bring it up and I will". What a sweet heart.

Here is a funny story that Ms. Valerie shared with us: In Happy Birthday Samantha; she wanted Samantha to move but she needed a reason. She decided that Grandmary could DIE. As she read the "book" (it was a draft) to her husband as they they drove to mail it to get it to the editors on time- she got to that part. Here is what her husband said: Oh Valerie you can't have that happen. I love Grandmary kids are going to be soo sooo sad. Her response was OK turn the car around. She rewrote it and have Grandmary get married to the Admiral. :))

Looking Back

This post isn't going to sad... about 9/11. Though I will never forget that day (I don't remember it); I will not make people teary eyed from writing about it. :)

Instead I will talk about...

I was looking back through old posts on this site. I realized that I never did have my mother write a post; and that I never posted pictures of Zoarzoar and that I never posted pictures of Chance either. I am sorry. I will one of these days. I promise.

School is going well and I really like my teachers. I enjoy seeing my friends- almost every day- and playing in band. Tomorrow jazz band will start meeting (M-W only) at 7 am. I am excited but I am not an early morning person. B-)

Too Long!

It has been a really long time since I have posted on this site. I can't believe it is September. It seems just last month my parents were hauling the Christmas Tree out of the house. :) A few more months and we will be hauling it in!

SCHOOL!

School went great. It will be my 3rd day of school tomorrow and so far so good. I forgot the papers to finish this story; but I only had like one sentence. I also forgot my Parent Signature thing for math. I will post photos from the Ivy Petition I think this weekend as my "weekly photo opt post"!

I notice that people come to see what's new on weekends; so I will have one big thing (maybe not a video) that I post on Saturday (usually and MAYBE Sunday)!

Too Long!

I am sorry that I haven't posted on this site for SUCH A LONG TIME! I have mainly gone back to Weebly; I have figured out what it can and can't handle. I have figured out how to post their some what easily. I have posted 2 new videos since the last time I posted here. So please come check them out. I have posted on my other site today. One of them is a powerpoint- converted into JPEGS "by saving as" again and then I put it into a video. One of them is for my new Video Series: How to Style Your Dolls' Hair! So CHECK THEM OUT. :)!

ALSO: I have created a Message Board which will be "subbed" for a Discussion Board! That will be for you can answer the QUESTION OF THE MONTH! I will put up a new question in October and I will link you to my Message Board. You don't have to join; and it won't be like Liz's but it will be more for "What book is your favorite by Valerie Tripp?" You can answer it here and it makes my life easier; because I won't have to fiddle with getting my "curser" into the right area so I can type. I won't have to try to get a curser and move the "text block"! So annoying that is. :)

School Starts for me on Tuesday. When does it start for you?! I will be going into 7th grade. I am sure I will have fun. :)! My "daily posts" almost will stop with in the first week of school when I get some HOME WORK! ugh.

My dolls will start school on Monday though; so that will be hard for them to have to go back so early; but it will have to work. I took some great pictures of Addy on Thursday at my mom's work; so I will try to get them up before I go back to school. Jess will be in 4th grade- home schooled kind of since she will be in Belize and Marisol will be moving but will also be in 4th grade. Jade-Lynne will be in 2nd grade and Rachel will be starting KINDERGARTEN! YEA. She is so excited.

I will try to post once more before Tuesday on this site and on the other one. I am bummed that school starts SO soon; where did summer go?! but i have to go back some time

Hi Guys! I uploaded my videos to youtube (just put in the search enjine agpixplace), but and sorry to say that my Weebly site is down. If you put in the URL address, it will come back saying that it can't find a really long address that isn't my site address! So I will post here until that is fixed. When that is fixed I will let you know. I put a stop motion movie (my first) onto the site and a video from vacation. I am waiting to put the Sunset Motel one on until next weekend because I think a lot of people come check to see if things are on durring the weekend and so I am trying to put something on every weekend.

Long- but Good STORY

Hi Everyone,
It is 10:30 AM and I should have plenty of time to write about all of the COOL and exciting things we did on vacation. :D LOL!

When we got into the Upper Peninsula and realized the A&Ws weren't there anymore, that was a little dissapointing, but we did get to have it on the way home in the L.P. yesterday. YEA! That was so GOOD!

We went to the Porcupine Mountains in Ontonagon and then to Munsing where we did the GLASS BOTTOM SHIPWRECK TOURS and the PICTURED ROCKS CRUISE! I have great photos of Jess and me on the Glass Bottom... Tour. I have wonderful pictures on the swing set at the SUNSET MOTEL ON THE BAY and the PETERSON'S COTTAGES. I will try posting those in a video this week.

Other than that vacation was just either eat, hike, sleep, or eat, tour, sleep and have FUN!

I am still working on CHANCE the doll I got from eBay and am fixing up. She had a bathing suit crayoned or markered on and her previous owner cut her bangs. My mom and I will post pictures of Chance and ZoarZoar (the doll my mom is fixing up!) ZoarZoar had her hair cut and my mom is fixing her up and gave her pierced ears with a push pin, (but I don't recommend that)! I will always go to American Girl for doll EAR PIERCING!

I hope that everyone has a grand summer this summer and I will clean my room, read a book that I am suppose to for School and make examples of the Holiday Give Away which starts on August 25th on my other site. Please also remember that the IVY PETITION is almost over and please sign in so I can get that mailed into them.

I promise I will post later this week, but it may or may be with out a video of PHOTOS! LOL!

Back!!

Back home from vacation. :) We spent the last two weeks up in Michigan's Upper Peninsula. IT was a blast. I will put the photos into a video (of the dolls). But I have to get them from dad because I have been downloading hundreds at a time (4 times) onto his laptop that we had with us.

New Video!

I won't be posting on the site(s) much for a week or two because I am working on several projects. Here are what they are:

New Background

Hi Guys! I just thought I would tell you the story of the new background. SO here goes:D....

I went to http://www.thecutestblogontheblock.com/ and found this really cool/ cute back ground but it was black so I switched to a black background. You are still at the same site. :D So if you don't like it let me know. I can change it. But if one person says I don't like it; the theme probably won't be changed. :D

Photos

I am bored stiff today. I am at work with my dad and my mom had an orientation she had to go to at her work. I was just thinking about photos for the site. I will take plenty of photos and I will post them on the site when we get back from vacation. I am not telling when I am going because that would break my parents' rule, but the new photos should be up in August.

I will see if there are any easy enough trails and if there are I will take the dolls on a hike and take there photos. BIG SURPRISE TOMORROW

BIG!!

WELL AT FIRST I was thinking I would just put the pictures on, but now I am thinking that I will put more of the pictures from Myrtle Beach with me and my 3 dolls I took into a video. I was thinking of doing that in the car, but now I will definetly do it. It'll have music, and the pictures I took from the trip with the dolls. I did take 217 pix of the dolls and other stuff, but this will only be the dolls.

What! New Poll?!

Yes I have changed the poll only because I feel as if today is close enough to the ending time and date (tomorrow at mid night)! I changed the poll. New Photo?

My profile photo has changed. I just used Microsoft PAINT and used the "pail" for the background and then the "AIRBRUSH" in pink to wirte. You can save it as a JPEG!

It was really fun but you have to be patient.

I am uploading pictures right now to my other site.

I hope you enjoy them. I had fun putting the stickers onto the buckets and coloring and doing stuff with the cakes. My mom helped she did the "wrote" LIFE and did the "really nice" cake. They are made from styrofome.

School Days Left

Only 10 more days of school. I have until the 10th of June. :) We had to many snow days so we have to go extra days. Ugh! Oh well!

The weather is looking nice here, although my week at camp was nice but a little hot. The other kids had (2 weeks before us) had atleast one day rainy. :) That is really hard to believe that they still had to HIKE.

I will post some pictures soon. We are going to Myrtle Beach this summer and I will try to get some pix in the pool. :) It'll be my first time "put puttin"! We go every other year for a dance convention, but we didn't and haven't been mini golfing. I never really showed the interest. I don't remember what started my "mini golfing" interest. Maybe it was the outfit American Girl had/ has. I hope the link goes for you. LOL I didn't try it out before I posted it, but I copied and pasted it, so it should.

New Pictures

I have some new pictures that I will try to get up to the sites this week. I have been to the Boston Bistro and it was OK, it isn't as fun as the American Girl Places, but it was good for when you want to see the outfits in person and things like that.

It is even worse when you are sick with Strep Throat the day you leave town. OK, I did the rapid test on Thursday the day before we were leaving down... NEGATIVE... Friday! Brling Brling. Hello! Is (your mother ) there please. Yes... the test came back positive. OK, so the ammoxocillin can only come in liquid for my age and it has to be refrigerated. SO I got another type of drug that tastes NASTY~ I mean really nasty.

OK, some people have been asking how many I have. What a tough question. I have: 3 of my dolls (Jess, Rachel and Jade-Lynne) ( they are all mine, but I pretend those are my Kids). My other today girls are foster kids, because their parents are overseas. My historical ones mainly are on display on the shelves in my room, but I change the clothing seasonally and redo their hair here and there. I have 15 total dolls; soon to be 16 when I get Addy from AG Bistro Boston. :) :) I am SO excited. :)

Behind the Scenes

Here are finally the behind the Scenes pictures as well as a picture of Jess in the woods. Give me a break. :) It is my first time using Trick Photography; with Adobe Photoshop Elements. I will add the picture of Jess in the woods to this post later. I will have to take a pictuer of it because it is taking TOO long to upload all of the pictures.

If it will not open from the Photoshop (PS) I will have to take a picture of it with my camera and show you. Sorry, I can't think of anything else to do. I know it will be blurry and I will do my best not to make it blurry, but I can't think of anything else. You can leave a comment if you can think of something. :) :)

American Girl Club

Nothin' is new here. I was just comin' to ask how many of you were a member on the AG Club? I was. I really liked it. My mom thinks that this is how some of us are dealing with not having the Club anymore. Yup, having our own "club" like thing. We all have our own site like you could on the Club and we leave comments that are nice for each other. Maybe she is right... :)

I will try to post some REALLY cool pictures later on in the week. I am using my mom's camera because dad is using mine, so I will be using her camera. :)

Yes, I did add a GUEST BOOK on my Weebly site due to Mia and Hali curiosity about how to comment. I thought you had to add a blog with a new domain ETC. But it is easier than that. :)

American Girl Outfits~

Hey! I totally believe that AG has some new outfits... and a new bunk bed, extra bed and a triple bunk. Umm you said it TRIPLE BUNK like at camp. AG also has camp outfits and camp fire accsessories. My mom said she might get me the tripple bunk, which means I'll be savin for my Nano. :)

YEAH! I have pictures of Jess with me and all of her new friends. I will post them here and the other site. I may eventually go over to just blog, but not yet. I hope you like them. I really like Blog, it has easier ways to upload images. I like Weebly too though. :( This makes it hard to decide. :) I will decide within the year. I will not delete the Weebly Blog, but I may just use the BLOG more.

The pillows were used to prop my dolls because standing them on my bed is a little hard. Liz, do you have any ideas? You use your bed. :) If so, you can e-mail them to me at agpixplace@gmail.com. Or you can leave a comment. Anyone can leave their ideas, but I know Liz uses her bed.

Can you tell what I got from the title? Well I got Jess. I have wanted her for a REALLY long time. My mom and I found a reasonably priced Jess on EBay. She didn't come with her clothing or her book but I already have the book. So it didn't really matter. She was owned by another girl, and she is in REALLY good condition. I will take pictures in a couple days and post them with the MardiGras Party.

Pictures/ Busy

Sorry, I haven't updated in a few days. I have been busy. Things around here are good, but I will have to take pictures of dolls for the site. I haven't even taken any more FEBRUARY pictures and it is almost March. I may not have many March pictures, but I will try. I have a busy Dance Schedule in April because Competitions are getting close. So I may only have one or two pictures. May I will have tons because it is my birthday month, so I will try to have pictures of my cake with my dolls etc. My JLY doll Rachel shares the same birthday so she'll have a Birthday Bash. :) Please remember the question of the month. :) I will change the question Saturday the 28th, in the About Me and as a New Post.

Well... I want a few pictures, so I decided to put the Picasa Web Albums Slide Show on because you can under the settings. SWEET! :) I really think this way people will be able to find a connection with the Discussions site and the Picture Site. I hope so anyways. :) I hope you enjoy them. I can have up to 500 images so I will do that and then I can make another album. I will go back and forth once I have to. :) Hopefull that'll be about 6 months to a year. :)

I have decided that I really like Blogger. I think I will still keep the page on Weebly. I have decided this because I don't feel like I can delete the page, but I won't post there anymore. Party

Yesterday's party was cancelled because the day before we had picked up Girl Scout Cookies and I had sort them and yesterday I had to sort my own.

Rachel is doing much better today, she didn't have a fever what so ever. I am rescheduling the party for later this week after school.

I hope you all like my new blog, I had somebody send me an e-mail and they wanted a blog for all of my posts. I thought it was a good idea so I did it:)
