I hope you Christmas is going smoothly. I have pictures from this vacation (winter break) and from today that I need to post. Hi Everyone,

I just wanted to say Merry Christmas. I know that the year 2010 went by quickly, and I hope that you would all agree with me that my webpage has gotten better over the past 2 years (well almost 2 years). I can't believe how close I am to this webpage's 2nd anniversary. It seems so unreal at how long I have had this page. It seems like I have had fit forever, but I also remember starting this MLK day weekend 2009.

Thank you all for sticking with me through those past 2 years even when it appeared that I may never post again. I know I would go weeks and almost a month without posting photos, but really, I do try to post photos as often as possible (AOAP).

If I were you, I would leave the browser open all day if you can because their system loads up with people quickly and then it is hard for "new comers" to be able to log on. I can't believe that Christmas is only 3 days around the corner. :) I have been busy on my winter break and I am sorry for not keeping you posted very much. I have photos and will have more from Christmas and the week after. I don't go back to school until January 3rd. I can't believe how fast the past year has gone by, and I can't believe how fun and great it has been. I know that the next year (Dec. 25, 2010-Dec. 25,2011, and 2011) will go by just as fast and will be just as fun. :) Thank You all for staying with the site, even though there are some months and times that I know that I hardly post, or don't even post anything. :)

my new hair cut. How do you like it?

I really love J.J just not her hair. American Girl has now made the dolls' hair so that is easier for younger kids (atleast J.J's). The back is really thin, and there is almost know hair back there. I will try to make a video this winter with my video camera.

I will have to reload the software though. When our computer had the virus, they reuploaded the software (first formatted it), and my camera editing software isn't on the computer yet...

Snow, Snow,and More Snow...

Hi everyone,

As you can tell by the title, we are expected to get snow here... We aren't suppose to get much, but the fact that we are getting snow is just exciting... winter is definitely on its way... :) I have the original snow photo I took earlier to post (I am about to do that), and I have another photo (I have to take it here in a sec.). to post as well... I would say probably from this little storm, we are probably going to get like 1 inch, from the looks of things, but I can tell that winter weather has already begun, and I know only a few more days until winter starts. (Exact date Dec. 21... :)

As some of you know, I got my hair cut. You can see in my profile photo how long it used to be before. Well later today, you will be able to tell how short it is now. It is about mid-neck length... :)

I need to go get ready for my 3 tests tomorrow... :) (and take a photo of my hair, and of the current snow)

Post 3: What happened to S&TW?

I realized just now, that I haven't done S&TW in a very long time... I will try to get back up to doing that again... I know a lot of sites have stopped (including mine) but I hope I can start again. I will have to figure out what week I am on and then I will start again. I hope to start after Christmas because I will have lots of photos, and I can just probably have a few from that. :) Then I hope to be able to do it again weekly. Hopefully I can keep up... :) I just do so much. I have dance on Wed. and I try to upload a new episode of The Little Couple that day too. :)

Photo of the snow... well almost :)

Hi Everyone,

I forgot to take a photo of the snow today... it is suppose to reach 33 degrees (Ferenheit) tomorrow... so the snow may melt. I will take a photo early in the morning and then try to post it here later tomorrow.

I had an Honor Band audition today and I hope I got in. There are 18 flutes, and I know I messed up on the sight reading, and a little on the "prepared piece". I think last year it was about a week before we knew if we made the list for the Honor band weekend or not. :)

I have homework to do tomorrow but I should be able to photograph the snow, and post it. :) Eighth grade really keeps you on your toes. :) I really want to do marching band in HS, and I cannot do it my Freshman year (bummer!- parent's rules), so I have to get all my homework done without procrastinating this year and my 9th grade year.

Snow :)

Hi Everyone,

I didn't get a photo of the snow I had talked about because it didn't really stick, and I kind of forgot. Here is the first accumulative snow that we have had this year. It is so exciting to see snow finally falling that actually sticks. :)

Winter is one of the prettiest (but coldest!) seasons in the year I think. What do you think?

Snow!

Today we had our first snowfall. There isn't much snow at all (I mean it barely is sticking to the ground) but it happened! YEA! It was so exciting... to watch the snow come on down!

I will try to take some photos of just the snow, although many of you northerners will not be all that impressed since you have had much more snow already.

Thanksgiving!

Hi Everyone,

I just got home from Buffalo about 2 hours ago. My family and I went there to visit my Grandma and some other relatives for Thanksgiving. Unfortuanately I don't have too many photos, but I do have some photos of J.J (my new doll) that I took while we were there.

I posted some photos from Michigan (we're talking August!), and Chicago (mid Chicago!). I am really behind, so I used Weebly's new feature called a Slideshow. I also talk about my Girl Scout Silver Award Project, and late news. The photos appear as a slideshow, but you can see them on the side or bottom. We are back to the web :) We got our computer back today, and I am SO happy because now I can post twitter, blogger, and webpage posts :) There is so much to tell but I think I will go eat a little snack before I do anything else... Where has time gone?

I would like to start off by apologizing that I haven't posted in over 2 weeks :( I really do try, but with 2 blogs and Homework (LOTS and LOTS of HW!), I do not actually find THAT much time do this :) (Hopefully things will go better next quarter, but I kind of doubt it ;0)

Oh well I suppose that is life :) I am going to try to post photos from our Trip to Michigan in AUGUST today, but I sort of don't think I will have time because I am only taking a break from Soc. Studies homework now. (I tell you that Study Guide is Time Consuming ;0)

Give Away Update

I am sorry I haven't posted in forever. My internet was being INCREDIBLY SLOW (like taking 10 minutes to load a site). We finally (in despirartion) decided to try restarting the dumb thing... :) All it needed was for the computer to be restarted. FIGURES :)

I have been REALLY busy, and haven't had time to update or start the Give Away... I will try to do it ASAP like this weekend or later this week. With my luck though something will come up and it will never get done :) I promise you the Give Away is something worth waiting for though.

Show and Tell Wednesday Week 36

Hi Everyone,

I am SO shocked to be done my homework at 6:45, and to be able to post this message to you all. Please remember that most days I am still doing my homework until the time I go to bed. :(

This week, I am going to show you a video of what I got at the American Girl outlet store, in Oshkosh WI. To find the location or more about it, I just googled "American Girl outlet store, Oshkosh, WI". I got the information I needed and we stopped there on the way home. On the video it talks about a Give Away that I was planning on starting Monday. Unfortunately, that didn't happen, so I will get you details about when I am planning on ending it. It will start this weekend (guarenteed since I can upload the video today, and just not post it until Saturday or Sunday)

Long Weekend, and Webpage edits

I can't believe it is finally a long weekend :)

It will take some getting used to of 5 weeks with only 2 day weekends... :(

As you know 8th Grade as brought on a lot of homework, for me... I will not be able to post as often, but I will be sure to try to post weekly :)

I have been in the process of editing my other website, so you may notice some interesting things over there, like new font, or new font colors, or something like that.

I am hoping to have all of my edits on the pages (you know- the fact that I am in 8th grade not 7th etc), fixed by next week (aka- Monday Sept. 6th, 2010).

S&TW Explanation:

In Michigan I perched my dolls onto this buerau/ shelf in the hotel we stayed in since it takes 2 days to get to the part of the UP we stay in. So here is a photo I took. It is so easy to get photos of dolls, and I never realized that until very recently. So lets take a look at the photo.

Hi Everyone,

I am SO Glad that InnerStar U!- is here. I am a little upset though because you have to buy a new doll to be able to get an account. I understand there are a few games you can play without a doll/ "membership", but still that is kind of dissapointing:(

Leanna told me (on Liz's site) that you can just buy a $10 package but I don't know where you can do that. Does anyone know? If you don't that's okay because my mom emailed American Girl and asked if there was another way you could join without having to pay for a "My American Girl" Doll. If the $10 package exsits then AG will tell my mom how she can get one:)

Show and Tell Wednesday

I am still planning on doing a S&TW. It may appear kind of late (7PM), but it should be up by tonight. I am also going to do a Weekends Show it All this upcoming weekend.

It will count as the Weekends Show it All for June. I was out fo town for 2 weekends, so couldn't really get it posted. I was working on it in June though:) I will do another Weekends Show it All later in July and it will count for July's Weekends Show it ALL!!

Show and Tell Wednesday Week 28!

7 months? WoW:) That time has really really gone by FAsT:) ZoOm:) lol.

I am going to show you an outdoor photo where I "tricked" the scenery. Basically I got down at the doll's level to make it look like the scenery you see in the photo was farther away then it really was. This way it looked the right size it would at the "pretended" distance. When things are farther away they look smaller because of parallax or your perspective to it. But as you get closer they get bigger.



So... this week I am going to show you a photo from when we were on Isle Royale an island in Lake Superior. The dolls are looking at the Queen IV (4) pull into the dock. The boat is really closer than that, but I had to make it look relative to their size so.... I also can't get any "normal sized" full grown tree in the photo either because then it is obvious how much bigger their surroundings are.

Show and Tell Wed. Week 27

Hi, I am sorry for not posting on Twitter, or here much, but I have been busy, and am trying to update and edit my webpage.

This week for S&TW week 36, I am going to show you a photo of my current and NEW header on my webpage. I made this on powerpoint by "inserting picture", and then when I lined the 4 photos up and had it the way I liked it I "grouped" them. I know you can do this on "Paint" but I couldn't figure out how, so I did this on PPT and then "File, Save As"... JPEG. This way I could upload it onto Weebly:) I also used the gridlines to make everything straight and to line them up perfectly. I did save a few versions but here is my final and the one on my webpage.

New Background CHANGE

Ok, I have kind of gone back to the old background. I think I will email Blogger and suggest that they still offer the OLD blogger templates. I really don't like how there is so much space between my title and the actual blog. I will see about fixing that...

Hi. I have gone back to the old background on my www.agpixplace.net webpage, and now have made a new background using the Design Creator on Blogger. The bad thing, I can't go back really here. I may suggest that Blogger still have their original templates, I don't know how I will like this, but I guess we will have to try it out.

Hi. Lately Lily has been posting, but decided that maybe it should be our turn for a change. So me (Mia) and Marisol decided to give you a update about the latest doll news. NO!- We haven't heard anything about a new doll, but this is information about our "little" family (of 20 dolls isn't little but...)

Hi Girls:) I can't believe I have been doing this 6 1/2 months:) **Don't forget about my Give Away until June 4th. I haven't changed the date on the page yet. I will today:) PLEASE ENTER! I know Liz has give aways for clothing but I can't afford that (with my own money:)).

I have a pattern for doll pajma pants (or shorts if you cut them:)). I am planning on making some to give away as well as some to keep for myself. We are making "boxers" or pajama bottoms in Life Skills right now and with my leftover fabric I am planning on making a pair to match mine. With other fabric (I'll post a photo soon:))- I am planning on making some for my dolls and some to Give Away. I should be able to give them away by August or September at the latest:)

So this week I am going to post a photo of the fabric and the pattern that I am planning on using for the pajama shorts!

Hi Girls:) I can't belive that this is the 24th week i am doing S&TW. If you don't know about it please click here.

This week I am going to show you a photo of my doll Elizabeth. WHat? Where'd she come from? Remember I did a poll (way back when!)- about do you suggest I get Elizabeth. From your suggestions and from my "wants" I decided to ask for Elizabeth for my birthday. I am so glad that she is in my doll family now:) I now have 21 dolls. I can't believe it has only taken me 13 years to reach that. (not even.:)

SO next week I should be able to do a photo too. :) Maybe next year (school year) I may only be able to do S&TW every other week or something because I hear in 8th grade you get more homework:) ugh!

So... I was looking at Michaels to see if they had any sewing camps this summer. I am taking Life Skills now and am sewing... I like it....

Back from...

Columbus;) What a wonderful placve;)- I didn't decide lets take a road trip to a place 2 hours away though:P. I was at a dance competition:) I don't have any videos for you, but when my DVD that I ordered comes in I will video the video playing (my solo maybe?) and post it:)

I got Gold on everything. Go to www.showstopperonline.com to find out what Gold, Silver, Platinum and Double Platinum mean. There really is no 1st place, 2nd place etc, although they do have overalls.

I didn't get home until really late so I decided to not go to school because I could barely get out of bed this morning;) I will post some photos of what the dolls did when I was gone later.

Ok. So it is now 10:28. What a long day. I helped my dad in the garden, and I also washed Marisol and Rachel's hair tonight. They are currently on my kitchen coutner drying. I will have to take some photos;))

Tired;), Weekends Show it All!

So after the first week back at school what do you expect from me? TIREDNESS!!! I am exhausted;) Worst part is that I am here at my dad's work today (my mom had meetings and things) until 6. My family isn't doing anything too heroic so I will be posting photos and maybe even a video!!!! (San Fran Video #2.)

I have decided to do something called "Weekends Show It All". Because I do S&TW here, I would do Weekends Show it All on my webpage so people who don't look at both can see that.Every weekend that I am home and free, (I am not busy) I am going to do a photo story and post it. Eventually the plan is to be able to have all of the photos from before (so this weekend I might do next weekends and then next weekend take photos for the next weekend but post that weekends). Or maybe I will just do an take weekend by weekend.

Basically I feel that some of the other girls are putting more things up. So this is my plan so that I can put more up but because I am so busy during the week I have to wait until the weekend.

I will definitely be posting a photo story this weekend.

Back...

I got back from San Francisco today (like an hour ago! 9PM) and made video... am now am Tired. The time change didn't help nor did our nap on the 4 hour plane ride. We took naps in the afternoon and got up at like 6 PT 9 EST! We tried not to completely go over but we stayed up until 10 PT and 1 EST so...

Hi Girls (and Guys?!)!!!!! I can't believe it has been a week since last S&TW. I am sorry I didn't have time to make a photo post last week but I hope I atleast explained why I "re-did" my website (i.e., background, fonts, colors etc).

Hi. I can't give you much details right now, but I can tell you that I am pretty busy and am having fun. I am going to tell you more details later, but for now know that nothing is wrong and that I am okay and safe! I know I haven't posted in a few days... Show and Tell Wednesday Week?( 16)

I had dance tonight and so I don't have time for a full S&TW. If you want to know more about S&TW click the page on the right side of this blog.

I will say though why I changed the background of my website. (<--- link).

I found that you can change the colors/ styles of the fonts and thought that if I wanted to make it pink then I needed to change the background to white, otherwise it wouldn't really show. Plus I was sick of the green. When you can change background colors but keep backgrounds, I will change the color from white to a pale red/pink. I may be waiting a while though.

I have to go to bed, but have a safe week.

Anything New?

For me no;) Unfortuantely I don't have anything new to tell you. I had a band concert on Thursday and it went well. I went to a Chinese Food restaurant last night. Today I am going to the Library and will be doing things for Girl Scouts. Should be fun.

Hi! Welcome to Show and Tell Wednesday. If you don't know what S&TW is click here! I didn't do a Show and Tell last week and I apologize! ;( I think I had dance and just didn't get to it. I may only do it on the weeks I don't have dance,- depending if I can load it Tuesday and have it auto. post. (all Remembering!!)

I think I will choose to share a photo of me with my doll Addy;) I got Addy for Easter last year and took her to my mom's work with me in the summer. I have a photo, where I was actually holding the camera but you probably can't tell.

My Flute... World Language Project

Hi to All!! Today I got my regular flute back. My loaner flute my flute teacher gave me was falling apart. Pat was able to make my flute look brand new. Thanks Pat.

I have been really busy with school especially with a project about the Democratic Republic of the Congo. This project is due on Tuesday and I still need to clarify 2 things with the teacher that I didn't think she explained well (at least I couldn't understand them). My partner and I worked today on the poster, and I will finish my brochure tomorrow.

I hope all has been well with all of you. I forgot to do a S&TW. I apologize. ;) Hopefully next week won't be as bad!! The weeks I have dance on Wednesday I don't get home until 7:30 and then I just want to go to bed. I don't have the photos at my dad's work where I am after school at the time so.... This week I will post 2 things. ;)

Computer Problems

So I just posted on my laptop about the home desktop computer being down. MIRACLE: It is back. We plugged it back in to see what happened and it cam back. I don't know how long it will stay but this is some what promising.

One other thing: A girl at my school who was in 8th grade had a stroke a few weeks ago (1-2 weeks). She was hospitalized at Childrens Hospital. On the P.A this morning we heard that Amanda had passed away on Saturday around 7:30. The principal has been in touch with her family and said so far no plans have been made. Please keep this family in your thoughts and prayers as I think we can understand how hard of a time her family must be having.

Computer's Down

Hi All,

I came home today and turned on the computer and went online... The internet is down and we can't figure out what exactly is wrong but we think it is related to the computer not the internet box itself.

Right now I am using my lap top which used to be my dad's (it is 5-6 years old). We hooked it up and it works, but I don't think that getting photos on the web will be possible.


I don't think I will be doing a regular S&TW this week. I may talk about a photo but I don't think I can physically get it up. Sorry! ;(

I will let you know more about when I will be posting photos later.
